Academic programs
The Master of Computer Science is composed of the following programs.
- The Computer Engineering program (in French : Génie informatique) is a vocational or standard training towards generalist software engineering.
- The objective of the Master of Science in Informatics is to offer to all students, regardless of country of origin, access to world-class graduate training in areas of Informatics where the scientific research community in Grenoble is particularly strong.
- The Master program in Operations Research, Combinatorics and Optimization is one of the possible specializations for the second year of the Master of Science in Computer Science (semesters 3 and 4). The courses are taught in English.
- Cybersecurity is a second year program (semesters 9 and 10) of the Mathematics and Computer Science Masters. Courses are in English and the program follows a first year Master 1 in mathematics or Computer Science or equivalent.
- Cybersecurity and computer forensics is a second year program (semesters 3 and 4) of the Mathematics and Computer Science Masters.
- The program Complementary Skills in Computer science (in French: Compétences Complémentaires en Informatique, CCI) is intended for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s degree in another scientific field, in order to obtain dual skills.
- The first year is offered in French and in English (first year of Mosig) with shared courses.

Scholarships and financial aid
Compared to other European or Northern American countries, University studies in France are relatively inexpensive as Education is highly subsidized by the French government. Students studying a Master’s degree are eligible for merit-based scholarships.
